About us
Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) was established on 6th of April, 2013 under the decree No. 1 for the year 2013 issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. It was a day that marked a paradigm shift, not only in the procession of Emirati heritage but also in the common heritage of humanity. From the Center’s name, it is clear that the tasks outshine traditional gathering and inscription of heritage to reviving it anew. To making it, yet again, a living being in the lives of nationals who remain, above all, extremely proud of their identity as Emiratis.
Minutes following its birth, HHC, began implementing its pre-set strategy, of raising the level of awareness around UAE’s genuine heritage nationally, regionally and internationally. Tapping into all the pathways of heritage revival be it, human, cultural, social, linguistic, artistry or sport. Carried out in an objective manner, the practice traces and obtains facts from authentic trusted sources, corresponding to world-standards.
