18 July 2018, Dubai: In support of the UAE’s vision 2021, officials from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) paid a visit yesterday to the Youth Hub at Jmeirha Emirates Towers in Dubai.
The visit was aimed at expressing HHC’s alignment with the national agenda and the Center’s continuous efforts to enhance the youth to participate in the revival of UAE’s heritage.
Heading the officials was H.E. Abdullah Hamdan Bin Dalmook, HHC’s CEO accompanied by Mr. Rashid Bin Markhan, Deputy CEO, Hind Bin Demaithan Al Qemzi, Director of Events; Fatma Al Falsi, Director of Research and Studies at HHC; in addition to a number of officials from various departments.
Bin Dalmook addressed a large number of audiences at the Youth Hub explaining the importance of national identity and how UAE’s union has come together as a result of their common social backgrounds and shared heritage.
Additionally, HHC conducted a live on screen competition to youth audience to test their knowledge. The questions were taken from Al Muwasif Book of Emirati proverbs. The young Emirati Rashid Al Baloushi had most of the questions answered and won a valuable prize.
On the occasion of the “Year of Zayed”, HHC awarded the Youth Hub a portrait of one of Sheikh Zayed’s memorable pictures and a portrait of astronomy used by Emiratis in the past.
