Dubai, 21 September, 2017: Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) conducted a workshop in collaboration with a leading business consultancy firm: Protivity, yesterday the 20th of September 2017. The workshop was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Dubai Festival City with a core objective of laying down the Center’s 2022 Strategy.
The workshop was attended by H.E. Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmook, the CEO of HHC; Rashid Mubarak Bin Markhan, Deputy CEO; Ms. Suad Ibrahim Darwish, Director of Championships; Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Bin Dalmook, Director of Corporate Support; Ms. Alyazia Almarri, Internal Audits Director; Mr. Joseph Paul, Head of Finance; Nathalie Awadissian, Program and Production Manager of Al Oula Radio; in addition to a number of HHC personnel.
“Working with leading consultancy firms to empower staff is a priority at HHC. This workshop will enable us implement best practices and align with the Center’s overall vision and mission. It is crucial to assess our current work process and flow versus our objectives. This workshop is also a guideline for the personnel in charge to lay down the foundation of long and short-term plans and thus HHC’s upcoming five-year strategy for 2017-2022”, said Alyazia Almarri, Internal Audits Director at HHC.
Almarri affirmed that conducting this workshop was the most ideal in-depth approach to complete HHC’s strategy for 2022 which will ultimately help achieve the Center’s goals and objectives in the first phase.
“The activation of an immediate action plan will follow HHC 2022 Strategy set-up, which will reflect on HHC’s practices in managing the diverse heritage-based activities, championships, initiatives, HHC Library and publications, as well as Al Oula Radio station”, concluded Almarri.
The strategy workshop revolved around aligning with the Center’s general objectives, vision and mission; assessment of current approach by the departments; clarifying and prioritizing goals; long and short-term action plans.
