Dubai, 14 August 2018: The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) is organising an exciting event celebrating Eid al-Adha with the purpose of preserving the UAE’s social heritage and spreading happiness and joy among the nationals, residents and visitors from around the world.

HHC mascots Omeir and Ghbeisha will lead a special event at Mirdiff City Centre on Tuesday, August 21, from 5pm to 9pm. The lovely duo, who reflect the patriotism and kind nature of Emiratis, will distribute Eid gift boxes to children. Each box contains a token amount as Eid gift and a special Emirati dirham with the logo of the center.

The distribution of Eid box is also aimed at promoting the culture of savings among the children.

Hind Bin Demaithan Al Qemzi, Director of Events at HHC, said: “We are delighted to hold events that carry positive messages to children. We are not just making them happy by giving them Eid gifts but we are also teaching them the value of saving.”

Omeir and Ghbeisha will also entertain the children and take pictures with them for posterity.
